Tara, just ten–years old, looked up at me from her school locker and said, “Hi Kathy!”
I looked down at her and said, “You look just like an angel.”

Little did I know, the next day she would be one. Tara and her family took advantage of a beautiful, crisp fall day to go canoeing on the river. They lost control of the boat and it capsized in the strong currents, trapping Tara underneath.

Several months later, Kathy sat up in bed one night and wrote this story. She could feel
Tara’s angelic presence in the room as the words flowed from her pen. Tara may have left the earth, but her work is not done. She has a message for all of us.
